Connect with people who truly understand your journey.

Our peer-led programs bring people together across Queensland for inclusion activities, capacity building, and mutual support. Led by people with disabilities, these programs create meaningful connections while providing valuable employment opportunities for peer leaders in our community.

P2P runs ongoing peer support activities across Gladstone, Fraser Coast & Hinkler, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane regions.

Peer Groups

We run a range of weekly, fortnightly and monthly events in every region including fishing days, creative workshops, social groups, and skill-building sessions. Our welcoming and free support groups give you a place to connect with others, build friendships, and learn new skills. From fishing to art, you're likely to find something that interests you.

Your Service Your Rights

Parent to Parent partnered with Inclusion Australia to deliver Your Service Your Rights workshops across Queensland.

This amazing project trained Peer Facilitators to deliver workshops to support people with intellectual disability to better understand their rights when accessing NDIS service providers.  This great workshop covered Rights, NDIS Code of Conduct and How to Make a Complaint.

Towards Inclusive Practice
Including Everyone.

This project was about providing expertise and advice to help make Government more inclusive for people with intellectual disability.

P2P partnered with Inclusion Australia to deliver this project.  A national network of people with an intellectual disability worked on the project as Inclusion Advisors to discuss and provide advice on issues and develop resources for Government on inclusive practice.

Thank you to Taum, Callum, Chelsea, Robbie and Ethan for their great work on this project.
