Loud and Clear QLD is a self-advocacy group for people with intellectual disabilities across Queensland.

Members of all ages meet regularly to speak up, share ideas, and lead meaningful change in their communities. Since beginning in 2014, many of our original members remain actively involved, proving the strength and impact of authentic self-advocacy leadership.

Loud and Clear Qld is supported by P2P and Spiral through an Information, Linkage and Capacity building grant.

A member of Loud and Clear Qld is elected to represent Queensland on Our Voice. Our Voice is a group of self-advocates supported by the members of Inclusion Australia.

Loud and Clear QLD groups meet in Central Queensland (Gladstone), Hervey Bay, and the Sunshine Coast.

Loud and Clear QLD members actively participate in key disability advocacy initiatives like Disability Royal CommissionOur Voice CommitteeHaving a Say Conference , National Disability Services – Staying Safe Forums, NDIS Review and the Sunshine Coast Council’s Action and Inclusion Coordination Meetings, Inclusion Action Plan and All-Access Day at the Beach.

2025 Loud and Clear Qld Conference and Concert

Queensland’s only all-abilities conference and concert designed by people with intellectual disabilities, for people of all abilities celebrated a milestone 10th anniversary under the theme “Rights, Voices and Choices,” on October 8th and 9th at Meridan Plains on the Sunshine Coast.

Over two inspiring days, hundreds gathered for transformative workshops on supported decision-making, inspirational speakers including MC Wheels and Rebecca Vizi, and hands-on Come and Try activities from dance classes to rugby league.

The celebration culminated with our All-Abilities Concert featuring Australian Idol Winner 2025 Marshall Hamburger, MC Wheels, and Redcliffe Peninsula Drum Circle with Ky Lovell.

A decade of self-advocacy, community, and ensuring everyone has rights, voices, and choices in their lives.
